01-New Member’s Class – Level I and II

Pastor Charles Whitaker & Elders – Saturday | One Day | 9:00am – 3:30pm

A primary course of study for all NEW MEMBERS, designed to familiarize newcomers with what our church believes to be fundamental for your walk with Christ, and your relationship with River of Life church. The materials covered in these lessons are considered to be a short and precise overview of our basic doctrinal beliefs. We consider it important that you the Prospective Member complete these sessions prior to receiving the Confirmation of Membership and participation in certain ministries at ROLC.

Class will be held on Zoom – when you register, you will receive the Mtg ID and Passcode. Books are provided to each student by email.

02-The Rapture—An Exciting Event to Look Forward To

Instructor: Elder Julie Push – Saturday | 9:00am – 10:30am

The Rapture means to be caught up, snatched away or carried away. It is the exci ng return of Jesus Christ where He calls up and gathers up all those who are born-again Chris ans in the last days from the Earth to meet Him in the air–those who are dead and those who are alive. I Thessalonians 4:16-17– “For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise ﬁrst. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together. with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord”. You will learn what the Rapture is, what it’s not, where it will happen, when it could happen, and other types of the Rapture that has already occurred..

03-365 Days of Victorious Promises Challenge for 2025: Washing with the S.O.A.P. Method in the Word of God

Facilitator: Minister Almeta Simms – Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays | 7 – 7:30pm

You will learn how to use the S.O.A.P Method daily journey together on Zoom reading through the scriptures. S – read the Scripture daily, O -OBSERVE what the scripture means, A – how can it be APPLIED to your life, and P – pray about the scripture and its applica on. Please get a notebook and take notes as God speaks to you. Pre-Session Introduc on Day: Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 7-8pm -During this session, we will provide step-by-step explana ons, guidance on what is needed, how to use the material, and what is expected. This will ensure that you are fully prepared for the journey ahead.
